Man swallows live goldfish in beer at McDonald’s

A 20-year-old who swallowed a live goldfish at McDonald’s as part of the notorious drinking game Neknominate has been banned from keeping animals.

Robert Atkinson downed the fish in front of stunned onlookers at the fast-food restaurant in Wakefield, West Yorkshire.

He was filmed by friend Lewis Summers, 19, laughing before standing up and shouting out: ‘Thanks for the nomination, this is a goldfish in beer.’
