Hero Firefighter Uses Beer To Put Out Beer Truck Fire

Houston firefighter Craig Moreau was driving home with his wife when they spotted smoke pouring off the brakes of the stalled 18-wheeler.

He pulled over immediately and attacked the fire with the truck's onboard extinguisher, which proved inadequate against flames that had begun to consume the tires.

After the truck driver told Moreau he was hauling a payload of beer, they busted open the trailer and started furiously shaking cans then popping tops to hose the fire down.

The fireman and truck driver were able to arrest the fire before on-duty public safety officials arrived.
