Mayor Arturas Zuokas runs the show in Vilnius, Lithuania, and is fed up with motorists parking illegally along the street. This proactive politician has decided to take matters into his own hands and send illegally parked motorists a message that is understood loud and clear: Park here and your car will be run over by a tank. Zuokas is upset that pedestrians and bike riders are being forced elsewhere because of lazy motorists, and decided that the best way to let the city know he now means business was to drive a camoflouged Russian armoured personal carrier over a Mercedes S-class that was illegally parked in a cyclists lane. We have a funny feeling that motorists will think twice before committing a parking infraction in Vilnius from now on.
